Lan Kwai Fong Beer & Music Festival

Hong Kong’s hot and humid summers lead both locals and tourists alike to seek air conditioning during the midday hours. However, there is one outdoor event that never fails to attract everyone with its tasty treats and games: the annual Lan Kwai Fong Beer & Music Festival. With the progressive easing on social distancing measures from June, this two-day event will be held over a weekend in July (dates to be announced), drawing huge crowds to participate.

Numerous booths will be set up along the Lan Kwai Fong’s winding streets, serving international brews, local craft beers, and delicious food from all over the world. This is a great opportunity for visitors to sample Hong Kong’s delicious craft beers that you won’t find in the supermarkets, such as Lion Rock Beer or Meow Beer. Entry is free and once inside you’ll find not just the beer tents, but a game zone and live bands performing a wide variety of music, including rock, jazz and electro.

At present, a 7-day quarantine is in place for travelers entering Hong Kong. For full details and recovery updates on Hong Kong, click here.
