Saigon on Camera Experience led by an Expert

With its never-ending bustling life, richly diverse Asian culture and all-round charming chaos, there’s a great photo opportunity in every corner of Saigon. And this well-known photographer and blogger shows guests how to make the most of it.

The tour sets out from the guests’ hotel bright and early around 7 am, when the day is still quite cool and light conditions are often at their best.  The guide takes her guests to a choice of atmospheric and often overlooked nooks and crannies, including some very photogenic old apartment buildings. As well as pointing out the sites, the guide gives on-the-spot tips and advice on the best positions and angles to shoot from. The party then drives to a small, rustic market which has stayed basically unchanged for generations and a warren of shops and warehouses for more chances to capture the city’s beautiful chaos.  After that, there’s a welcome break at a traditional coffeehouse where the shots of the day can be reviewed and discussed. As a thank-you for joining her on the tour, the guide gives each guest her recently published photo book containing some of the finest  from her own collection.
