Preparing for the Restart of Travel in Singapore

As Singapore gears up for the restart of international travel and in anticipation of the opening of a new air travel bubble with Hong Kong, General Manager of Destination Asia Singapore takes us through the new health & safety procedures currently in place under the ‘Singapore Safe’ initiative. Hotels, venues, and restaurants across the city have once again opened their doors while implementing QR code check-ins, temperature checks, hand sanitizer stations, and mandatory mask-wearing.

Click on the video below to see the health & safety checks in action and get a glimpse of what travel in Singapore currently looks like.

In order to support and respond to client questions relating to health and safety around travel in the current climate, Destination Asia produced a series of ‘Travel in Asia Post COVID-19’ documents for each of its operating countries. Each document is based upon four key guiding principles: protection & barriers, enhanced sanitation procedures, physical distancing compliance, and training & monitoring, and have been recognised by the World Travel & Tourism Council, meeting their ‘Safe Travels’ global protocol requirements.
