At the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens, sixteen teams including more than a few top-ranking players battle it out on the field. In Rugby Sevens, the games are shorter than the traditional version. As the name suggests, teams field seven players on a full-size pitch, and the shorter times and fewer players create an exciting atmosphere as the battles are quicker and breakaways more thrilling, resulting in a contest that’s truly absorbing to watch.
Coming in fancy dress and funny costumes is part of the Rugby Sevens experience, no matter where it’s held around the world, and the Singapore event is certainly no exception.
