Destination Asia is delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas Stecher as the new Regional Sales Director for Corporate Meetings & Events. With over 20 years of diverse experience in the travel industry, Thomas brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

Thomas’s impressive background spans various sectors of the travel industry, including hotels, convention centers, destination management companies (DMCs), event agencies, and corporate positions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management & Languages, with a specialization in French and Spanish, and a master’s degree in hospitality management.

Having worked in the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany, Thomas’s career path eventually led him to Singapore, where he dedicated nearly nine years to a multinational event company. Now, as the Regional Sales Director for Corporate Meetings & Events at Destination Asia, Thomas will spearhead the company’s expansion into our regional markets.
