Delight in the serene and beautiful blue waters of Lombok from the deck of a wooden Dragon Boat whilst cruising alongside the famous Gili Islands off the north-western coastline of Bali’s neighbouring Island. The experience commences at Sire Beach where guests board the Naga Mesem (Smiling Sea Dragon), for their two and a half hour private cruise.
The wooden boat is inspired by romantic folklore legends; the beautiful goddess of the peak of Rinjani Mountain and the son of the Sea Dragon, the very powerful king of the sea in front of the coast of Sire Beach. The Naga Mesem boat stands by every day on Sire Beach to deliver stories of happiness and love back to the King of Gods, who resides on Mount Rinjani.
Starting at approximately 16:30 in the afternoon with a security briefing, the boat then sets sail from the virgin white sand beach of Sire towards Gili Air, the smallest of the three Gili Islands. Guests can sit back, relax and admire the spectacular views of Mount Rinjani. At 3,726 meters, it is the second highest volcano in Indonesia. Pass by the famous Gili Air and Gili Meno Islands before cruising by the majestic surrounding bays with palm-fringed white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
As the sun goes down, soak in this unforgettable moment with a chilled glass of Prosecco and delicious canapés as you toast the end of yet another beautiful day in paradise. On our return to Sire guests disembark the cruise and are transferred back to their resort.
