Mexico Meets Tokyo With New Restaurant

The Hacienda del Cielo Bar and Restaurant in the trendy Daikanyama district offers great night-time views of Tokyo from its ninth-floor rooftop. The Sky Dining area can accommodate 40 people, while the adjacent Vista Lounge also holds 40 though in a larger space. A large serpent-like chandelier forms the centerpiece of the 8-meter ceiling in the contemporary lounge bar area while the kitchen serves modern Mexican cuisine using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Meaning ’house in the sky’ in Spanish, the Hacienda del Cielo is extremely popular with young Tokyoites and requires reservations well in advance for tables in the outdoor lounge and sky dining area. Booking very early to rent the outside spaces would be strongly advised.
