Street running is a great way to stay fit and running at the Hong Kong Pride Run 2025 means even more than that. It’s an expression of oneness and solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
Scheduled for 14 December, this highly anticipated event champions love, equality and acceptance, bringing together thousands of participants from across the region and beyond. It’s open to runners of all levels, who can choose a 5K fun run or the full 10K challenge as they make their way past some of Hong Kong’s most iconic landmarks.
The race is complemented by vibrant street festivals, live performances and community booths which offer information on solidarity and inclusivity. For those who aren’t quite up to running, there may also be opportunities to be part of the support team and, of course, they’re more than welcome to simply be part of the event by cheering the participants around the course. However they choose to take part, their presence helps drive positive change and reinforces the message that love knows no boundaries.
