The culinary master class lasts approximately 3-4 hours and is held in a lecturer’s traditional Japanese style house. Here the passionate chef reveals the secrets surrounding ancient cultural traditions that exist in the local area. Previously living in Australia, our friendly chef is also fluent in English, making it easy to communicate about Hida Takayama culture. The class size is limited to 6 people so participants can enjoy a personalized experience. Each person will be able to take home the recipes for the dishes prepared as a souvenir of their unique experience in rural Japan.
