Destination Asia Thailand is proud to partner with the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) to support the protection and care of the country’s incredible wildlife. Through this partnership, we offer unique experiences that allow our guests to witness conservation in action and gain a deeper appreciation for Thailand’s endangered species.
Operating out of Hua Hin, our team has curated two remarkable experiences. The first is a half-day visit to the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre, where guests can observe rescued tigers, bears, gibbons, and other wildlife, learning about the care, rehabilitation, and release efforts that help protect these species. The second is a two-day, one-night stay at the I-Love-Phants Lodge, offering guests the chance to stay close to rescued elephants, with feeding and observation sessions that showcase the dedication involved in their care and conservation.
While laws and enforcement provide an important framework for wildlife protection, lasting change depends on education and awareness. WFFT also runs a local education outreach program, teaching children about the threats facing Thailand’s wildlife and fostering respect, compassion, and understanding in the next generation. Together, these programs and Destination Asia Thailand’s guest experiences contribute to protecting Thailand’s biodiversity and raising global awareness about the urgent need for conservation.
