Bali Asli is located in Gelumpang village, nestled in the foot hills of Mount Agung, Bali’s most sacred mountain. Bali Asli is an authentically Balinese experience, a place surrounded by rice fields that sits idyllically in a natural landscape void of any other buildings. The residence provides an opportunity for guests to learn how to fine tune their culinary skills and handle the natural products and healing herbs found in Bali.
Local experts provide lessons in cooking and show visitors how to prepare traditional skin and beauty products from ingredients such as coffee, chocolate, honey, coconut and exotic flowers. In between classes guests can relax in the surrounding countryside and indulge in treatments such as traditional foot massages; or enjoy the flavors of an Eastern Balinese ‘Megibung’ lunch against a backdrop of local villages and the impressive Mount Agung.
