The View Tree Top Café & Bar is now officially open and ready to give its guests a unique experience in a remote cliffside location, overlooking the legendary Kuangsi waterfalls of Luang Prabang.
Visitors need to climb some steps to get to the View but the destination is well worth the effort. The café itself is beautifully designed with simple materials that reflect the local environment and give exquisite views of the teeming jungle around it. It serves breakfast and lunch, along with excellent Laos coffee, tasty snacks, ice-cold beers and delicious juices. Once refreshed, many visitors take the short hike to Kuangsi waterfalls for a dip in the beautiful waters, which cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. It’s refreshing and quite unforgettable!
For visitors chasing more adventure, there is an adrenaline-fueled zipline experience offering a wild descent over the treetops to the foot of the falls. The trip has been designed with a late afternoon return to Luang Prabang, stopping off at a centre where impressive black bears have a safe sanctuary home.
