Toward the end of 2022, Destination Asia Events in partnership with Malaysia Airlines, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts hosted a five-day business development trip for a group visiting from the UK. After a couple of days engaging in the frenzied pace and can’t-miss activities in KL, the group made their way to Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Malaysian Borneo, where they stayed at both Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort and Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort. Highlights here included visiting the Mari Mari Cultural Village and taking on the Kiulu River rapids!
