Destination Asia Japan is proud to announce the opening of its Kyoto Branch office, the company’s second office in Japan. Located in the heart of the city on Kawaramachi Street, the office is conveniently located close to major transport links and a number of international hotels, making it easily accessible for visiting clients. We are also perfectly placed to explore the surrounding region and all it has to offer, helping us develop more in-depth programs to uncover the inherent beauty of the nation’s former capital and wider area.

Kyoto is Japan’s seventh largest metropolis with a population of approximately 1.4 million and an exceptionally well preserved culture. With over 2000 temples and shrines to explore, this UNESCO World Heritage city is one of Japan’s most impressive cities.

The office is led by Peter Cools, Incentive Manager for Destination Asia Japan, and will initially focus their goals towards putting Kyoto on the map for MICE business.
