Destination Asia Malaysia has opened a new office on the Legendary Island of Langkawi. Langkawi is a destination that is rich in natural attractions, from its beautiful beaches to UNESCO world heritage sites, attractive mountain scenery, limestone outcrops and one of the oldest mangrove/rainforests in Southeast Asia.
Due to increasing arrivals into Langkawi, Destination Asia Malaysia identified the importance of having an on-site office to support its operations. Our Langkawi office is located in the historical area of Padang Matsirat just a five minute drive from the International Airport Langkawi.
There is an array of wonderful eco-activities to immerse in on the island, including cultural village visits, coral preservation, eagle and horn bill habitats, jungle trekking and many others.
Langkawi is also home to a wide variety of sports related activities including one of the most beautiful golf courses in Asia – the Els club developed by well-known golfer Ernie Els.
Complementing this is a range of high quality luxury hotels including the Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, the well-established Four Seasons, the original deluxe property called the Datai. Leading operations as Branch Executive in Langkawi is Kunatasha – better known as Natasha (centre image). Natasha was born in Penang, grew up and schooled in Germany before returning to Malaysia.
