The Affordable Art Fair is a renowned touring event that has been showcasing contemporary art in major cities around the world since 1999. This year, it returns for its twelfth edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 22-25.
Over 100 galleries, both local and international, will present a vibrant array of contemporary art across various media, including painting, sculpture, and photography. While contributors come from all corners of the globe, there is a notable representation of emerging artists from Southeast Asia.
True to its name, the fair emphasises affordability, with all artwork priced up to a maximum of HKD 30,000, making it accessible for new collectors looking to invest in original pieces. The event also offers interactive workshops, including several kid-friendly activities, alongside thought-provoking talks from artists and experts to further enrich the experience.
