House of Dancing Water returns to Macau

Widely regarded as one of the world’s most distinctive aquatic productions, The House of Dancing Water returned to City of Dreams Macau in May with a reimagined show that is more spectacular than ever.

Inspired by an ancient folk tale of love, escape, and adventure, the 90-minute performance combines high-impact acrobatics, elegant choreography, immersive laser projections, and intricate water ballet. All of this unfolds on a 270-degree stage enhanced by cutting-edge technology that adds depth and drama to every scene.

The production features a number of impressive engineering feats. Massive hydraulic lifts capable of carrying up to 208 tons allow for seamless transitions between scenes, while hundreds of powerful water jets shoot up to 18 metres into the air. A deep central pool holds more water than five Olympic-sized swimming pools, and daring aerial dives are performed from platforms as high as 25 metres above the stage.

To add to the atmosphere, cast and crew interact with the audience before the show, creating a sense of anticipation and drawing viewers into the world of the performance.

Destination Asia Hong Kong has curated a selection of tailored packages for people wanting to see the show, including premium seating and group-friendly inclusions, ideal for both leisure and incentive travellers seeking a one-of-a-kind experience in Macau.
