Preparations Made for Driving Tourism Recovery in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Government has announced the new allocation of resources for the Tourism Board in the 22/23 Budget to help boost the economy and drive tourism recovery. The Budget has specially allocated more resources for developing arts and culture and promoting cultural, heritage and green tourism projects with Hong Kong characteristics.

There will be an allocation of HK$600 million in funding, mostly going to support the “Cultural and Heritage Sites Local Tour Incentive Scheme”, as well as the “Green Lifestyle Local Tour Incentive Scheme”.

Destination Asia Hong Kong welcomes the initiatives and will offer its full support and cooperation to the Tourism Board in developing and promoting these new tours.
