A taste of royalty in Indonesia’s Ubud

Puri Kantor in Bali’s Ubud region has long been home to members of the nation’s royalty. Now it has opened its doors to invite guests for special events that offer a taste of the royal lifestyle.

Groups of up to 30 participants are simply wowed when they enter the grounds and take in the elaborate traditional architecture, intricate Balinese carvings and serene courtyards that create an atmosphere rich in historic and cultural significance.

Up to 30 guests can be comfortably seated in the inner courtyard, or 50 in the outdoor area, for a delectable corporate or VIP dinner. Entertainments can be arranged, including gamelan performances, classical dance and ceremonial welcomes that perfectly emulate the age-old riyal traditions.

The setting, ambience, service and sheer sense of tradition add up to an experience far more memorable than the typical hotel gathering. These events can be booked for any time of year, with the dry season from April to October particularly recommended.
