The Vietnam Military History Museum, which opened in November, is a powerful tribute to the resilience and bravery of the Vietnamese people throughout the turbulent 20th century. Located just outside Hanoi, this modern, state-of-the-art facility is one of the largest museums in Vietnam, offering a world-class experience for visitors.
With over 150,000 artifacts, including military relics, models, and videos, the museum traces the nation’s long path to independence. The thoughtfully curated exhibitions guide visitors through key moments of Vietnam’s resistance against foreign invaders, culminating in the triumphant reunification of the country in 1975. The museum presents a balanced view of the harsh realities of war while celebrating the determination and unity of the Vietnamese people.
While the museum’s first floor is now open to the public, the second and third floors are still under development. Curators promise even more fascinating displays will be added in the future, making this an evolving destination for history enthusiasts.
