Doha-based Qatar Airways has announced Siem Reap will be amongst the eight new destinations across Asia, Africa and Europe to join its network in 2020.
Cultural tourists will be able to take advantage of a new direct link from Doha to Siem Reap, Cambodia – the airport serving the ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat. Five weekly flights will operate, beginning 16 November.
Other additions to the airline’s route network include Nur-Sultan and Almaty, Kazakhstan; Cebu, Philippines; Accra, Ghana; Trabzon, Turkey; Luanda, Angola; Lyon, France.
The new routes will expand the airline’s operations to a total of 177 destinations around the world.
