A stroll through a gorgeous Laos flower garden

The UNESCO listed town of Luang Prabang is a treasure trove of natural beauties and the Green Jungle Park, just a short distance from the centre, has a rightful place among the best of them. A visit to this venue is a true delight, abundant with amazing, gloriously colourful flowers and plant life in a series of lovingly tended gardens. Simply wandering through it and taking in the magnificent, 100 metre Hoi Khua waterfall is a balm to the senses.

Visitors who are more actively inclined can jump into adventure activities such as an adrenaline-filled zip line ride. Whether they’re relaxing or letting rip, most visitors will want to stop off for some mouthwatering Laos specialities at the breezy open air Tad Hoi Khua restaurant. And there are fun activities and traditional dance displays to take in too.

As well as being a blissfully relaxing experience, a visit here also contributes to the park’s ongoing work.
