A new life for an iconic Hong Kong market

Temple Street, one of Hong Kong’s best known and most popular night markets,  takes on a new look for the next five months, courtesy of the Night Vibes Hong Kong campaign, which aims to revitalise the city’s after-hours economy.

Spanning from Jordan Road to Yau Ma Tei’s Tin Hau Temple Complex, Temple Street has been revamped and recharged with stimulating sounds and eye-popping colours. Wandering past the must-visit photo spots, visitors may be especially attracted to the impressive lineup of 32 roadside food stalls and their dizzying range of delectable Hong Kong snacks and diverse speciality products. Stuffed three treasure dumplings, pig’s trotter noodles, fish balls and siu mai, alongside international offerings like Turkish coffee, Pakistani snacks, and Nepalese treats are among the delights to sample.

The next stop on the stroll is “Artistic Temple Street,” which showcases a series of luminous artistic installations, distinctive signposts and stunning projections, all with a focus on the nostalgic charm of old Hong Kong.
