This experience starts bright and early at 6 am, when your Destination Asia guide takes you to the Above Laos Hot Air Balloon Adventure site. Then you take to the skies for a uniquely memorable hot air balloon ride over Vang Vieng, with stunning views of its emerald green rice fields, the pristine Nam Song river, the township of Vang Vieng itself and the region’s incredible karst cliffs.
The balloon and equipment are built in France, 100% handmade and crafted with care, certified by the Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile and the European Aviation Safety Agency. The balloon fleet is small to medium in size, to provide you with an uncrowded, quality experience. Every member of the crew is professionally trained and has a perfect knowledge of the area. They’ll make you feel welcome and ensure you’re looked after, all the way through your flight.
The trip will last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the weather.
