Hong Kong’s Star Ferry, which crisscrossed the city’s Victoria Harbour several times a day for well over a century, has always been one of Hong Kong’s most remembered and cherished features. Now relieved of its ferry duties, one of its boats has enjoyed a complete makeover and been refitted with the very latest low-carbon, environment friendly technology. The transformed and updated version, now known as World Star, has won numerous travel industry awards since its reintroduction.
Our World Star experience begins with evening cocktails at the Central Pier 7 terminal. Fanned by a gently refreshing breeze in the public viewing deck area, guests get a panoramic view of the famous harbour and waterfront, facing Kowloon’s iconic clock tower. The fun continues when guests boarding the exclusively chartered ferry for a leisurely sunset cruise lasting up to two hours, watching evening fall and the lights go on in one of the world’s most photogenic settings.
