Jeep Adventure in the Cambodian Countryside

A Jeep adventure is a fantastic way for incentive groups to explore the countryside and back roads that weave through the remote villages of Cambodia. Not only do guests see more, but they get a real taste for the country resulting in a far more enriching experience.

Destination Asia Cambodia can organize authentic A2 American Army Jeeps to Kampong Pluk; a cluster of 3 stilted villages located approximately 16 kilometers from Siem Reap in the flood plain of the Tonle Sap Lake. The Jeep adventure will take guests through local villages to see them as they would have appeared during the Angkorian Period. At Kampong Pluk we change from Jeep to a local boat to explore the village, flooded forest and mangroves. Guests have the opportunity to stop and see local fishermen and farmers going about their daily tasks. During the dry season when the lake is low, the buildings in the villages seem to soar atop their 6-meter stilts, exposed by the lack of water.

There are currently 20 jeeps available which can accommodate up to 3 pax per jeep. For larger groups, we can split them into two, with one group heading to Tonle Sap and returning by bus while the other group goes to Tonle Sap by bus and returns by Jeep.
