MICE facilities hit new high in Macau

MGM Macau recently welcomed a group of industry guests, including Destination Asia MICE Manager Phyllis Lau, for a preview of its newly developed MICE offering. The project has been created in partnership with Bangkok-based EM District, the operator behind several of Thailand’s most prestigious retail centres.

Designed to position Macau among the world’s leading MICE destinations, the development combines large-scale event infrastructure with distinctive venue experiences. At its centre is a 2,000-seat theatre equipped with 4K technology, complemented by a collection of flexible meeting and event spaces that can be configured to suit a wide range of programs. A European-inspired indoor venue with a striking glass ceiling offers an elegant setting for both meetings and social functions.

Beyond the event spaces, organisers have access to Michelin-starred dining, the TRIA Spa, MGM Art Space, and up to 2,000 guest rooms and suites within easy reach, creating a seamless environment for multi-day programs.

Sustainability certifications and flexible design principles underpin the entire complex, allowing it to support everything from small executive gatherings to large international events.
