The Majestic Theatre Penang is located in the historical UNESCO Heritage center of George Town. The theatre was abandoned in 1980, before developers restored it into the contemporary multi-purpose event space available for use today. The theatre has been transformed into a versatile space that is perfect for events such as film screenings, performances, balls, exhibitions, gala dinner events and sports related activities. There are two different spaces within Majestic Theatre, catering for small intimate gatherings as well as larger scale events such as gala dinners.
An area of 380sq/m is able to accommodate 400 delegates with a banquet setup and 600 in theatre style. The Majestic Theatre is just 30 minutes from Batu Ferringhi and transfers by trishaw from any George Town city hotels can be arranged.
