New visa regulations for Thailand have been announced, in a bid to open the country to more travellers.
The new regulations aim to create a more inviting and hassle-free experience for international visitors with 93 countries now able to enjoy visa-free stays of up to 60 days, a significant increase from the previous 30 days, and the list of countries eligible for Visa on Arrival (VOA) increasing to 31.
A new ‘Destination Thailand’ visa for digital nomads allows stays of up to 180 days per visit, with multiple entries allowed over 5 years and the length of stay for students and graduates will also be extended.
These strategic measures are designed to provide more flexibility and encourage longer stays, making Thailand an even more appealing destination.
