Hong Kong is gearing up for the return of UNICEF’s much-loved charity runs WonderRun and PowerRun, united under the HERO RUN banner this December and January. These events bring together communities to enjoy fitness, fun and fundraising while supporting children in need around the world.
WonderRun, taking place in mid-December, is a family-friendly event featuring a 1K fun run, a 3K obstacle course, and a variety of games and entertainment along the way. PowerRun on 6 January offers a half marathon and a series of shorter races for adults and youth, following a scenic route around the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
Both events aim to promote inclusive and equitable access to education, raising awareness and vital funds to help children overcome barriers to learning. Every runner, walker and volunteer contributes to creating a brighter future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
