The Brief

A US software company partnered with Destination Asia Indonesia to deliver a leadership programme in Bali for 120 participants. The objective was to create a seamless, hotel-based program that balanced strategic meetings with meaningful cultural connection and opportunities for relaxation.

With all activities taking place within a single luxury resort, the itinerary required careful planning, rapid venue transformations, and precise coordination to ensure each moment felt distinct while maintaining a relaxed and cohesive flow.


Event Highlights

Exclusive resort programme
The client secured exclusive use of key resort venues, allowing the programme to unfold entirely within the property while creating varied environments across meetings, dinners, and social events.

A Balinese welcome
The programme opened with experiences designed to immerse guests in local culture from the outset. This extended as far as distributing locally made sarongs for guests to wear at the main get-togethers, a specially devised Balinese spa treatment, and a hands-on workshop where guests tried their hand at making the island’s traditional arak spirit.

Wellness and relaxation
Spa experiences and informal social moments were integrated into the programme, supporting both connection and downtime for participants.

Themed dining experiences
Evening events transformed the resort’s spaces through thoughtful styling and programming, ensuring each dinner felt unique while maintaining a cohesive narrative across the programme.

Multi-venue after-party
One evening featured an after-party that flowed across three different resort venues, creating energy and variety while remaining seamlessly coordinated.
