FIA Formula E Championship Enters Malaysia

The FIA Formula E Championship marks a new era in motorsports as it features electric single-seater race cars with the capability of speeds in excess of 225km/h. Commencing on 22nd November 2014, the series will compete in the heart of 10 of the world’s leading cities including Putrajaya, Malaysia on 22 November 2014.

Malaysia boasts a rich, diverse landscape with verdant landscapes and ancient rainforests, together with idyllic white sandy beaches that entice travelers back each year. The city of Putrajaya is located just 30 minutes south of the capital Kuala Lumpur and following recent developments, has now become a desirable destination. One of the greenest ways to explore the city is by bike. This also gives clients the freedom to venture into lesser known parts of the city that otherwise might not be encountered – though bus and trains are also available if preferred.

The Formula E event is designed to appeal to a new generation of motorsport fans, whilst accelerating the interest in electric vehicles and promoting sustainability. The Putrajaya street circuit encompasses the beautiful Seri Wawasan Bridge and Putra Mosque – providing a unique perspective of this burgeoning city.
