The Classic Car Club at Hong Kong’s Chater Road Show has become an increasingly popular event and this year will be held on 17 November. The show displays over 100 rarely seen classic cars from various origins and eras, along the length of one of the main roads in the Central district.
In the past few years, the event has started attracting a growing number of enthusiasts from around the world, as it provides a perfect platform for these aficionados to enjoy seeing each other’s fine pieces of machinery, talk about vehicle performance, swap information on collection and maintenance and discuss worldwide prices for various cars. This last feature is becoming a particular draw, as owning a classic vehicle is emerging as an investment as much as a hobby, with some of these exclusive cars changing hands at auction for HK$100,000,000 and more.
